EDUCATION
Mr Lucky Swain's academic journey reflects his commitment to knowledge, innovation, and leadership. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology (B.Tech), which provided him with a strong foundation in scientific thinking, research, and problem-solving.
Driven by a desire to understand management, leadership, and organizational development, he further pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA). This combination of technical and managerial education has helped shape his strategic approach to sports development, community initiatives, youth engagement, and public leadership.
His educational background continues to influence his vision of creating sustainable opportunities for young people and contributing meaningfully to the development of society.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE
Following his academic journey, Lucky Swain built valuable professional experience by working with reputed organizations across diverse sectors. His corporate career began with the India operations of the Perdaman Group Australia, where he gained exposure to international business practices, organizational management, and professional leadership.
He later worked with United Breweries Limited, one of India's leading beverage companies, where he further developed expertise in operations, stakeholder engagement, team coordination, and business execution within a large corporate environment.
Subsequently, he continued his professional journey with Park, expanding his experience across business processes, management practices, and organizational development.
These experiences provided him with a strong foundation in leadership, strategic planning, communication, and execution - skills that continue to support his work in sports promotion, youth development, community initiatives, and public engagement.
SPORTS ENDORSEMENT
Sports development has been one of the defining pillars of Lucky Swain's public journey. Believing that sports can transform lives, build discipline, and create opportunities for young people, he has consistently worked to strengthen the sporting ecosystem across Bhadrak and Odisha.
His most significant contribution has been through the Tillo Cup, one of India's most recognized independent cricket tournaments. Under his leadership as President of the Tillo Athletic Association, the tournament has grown into a nationally respected sporting platform that has featured celebrated cricketers such as MS Dhoni, Ishan Kishan, Mohammad Nabi, Krishnappa Gowtham, and several other national and international stars. The success of the Tillo Cup has not only elevated Odisha's sporting profile but has also inspired countless young athletes to pursue excellence in cricket.
Beyond cricket, Lucky Swain has actively promoted a diverse sporting culture by supporting and organizing competitions across multiple disciplines. Under his guidance, the association has successfully conducted 7 Youth Leagues, 6 Football Leagues, 5 Volleyball Leagues, 5 Exhibition Sporting Events, and 4 Junior Athletics Competitions, creating valuable opportunities for emerging athletes to compete, develop skills, and gain recognition.
His commitment to fitness and youth participation is also reflected through the successful organization of the Bant Mini Marathon, which was conducted for three consecutive years and became a popular community sporting event encouraging health, endurance, and active lifestyles.
Through these initiatives, Lucky Swain has helped create a sporting environment where talent is nurtured, opportunities are expanded, and young people are empowered to dream bigger. His vision continues to position sports not only as competition, but as a powerful vehicle for youth development, community engagement, and social progress.
